What is Sleep Apnea?
Sleep apnea affects the way you breathe when you are sleeping. If untreated, breathing can be briefly interrupted or becomes very shallow during sleep. These breathing pauses typically last between 10 to 20 seconds and can occur up to hundreds of times a night, jolting you out of your natural sleep rhythm.
As a consequence, you spend more time in light sleep and less time in the deep, restorative sleep. This chronic sleep deprivation can lead to daytime sleepiness, slow reflexes, poor concentration, and an increased risk of minor to critical accidents.
Sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems over time, including diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and weight gain.
But with treatment and use of our light and latest CPAP machines, you will be able to control the symptoms of Sleep Apnea and be able to sleep easy every single night - guaranteed.

CPAP Treatment
CPAP is the most common treatment for moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. In many cases you'll experience immediate symptom relief and a huge boost in your medical and physical energy.
Our Continuous Positive Airflow Pressure (CPAP) devices are the size of a tissue box. If you’ve given up on sleep apnea machines in the past because of discomfort, you owe it to yourself to give them a second look.
CPAP technology is constantly being updated and improved, and the new CPAP devices are lighter, quieter, and more comfortable. A CPAP machine prevents sleep apnea by blowing air into a mask that covers the nose and mouth. The stream of air keeps the airways open.
You can be referred to sleep apnea tests, rhinomanometry tests and holter tests directly by your local GP.
To make a direct referral for all tests please download and complete a referral form.
Rhinomanometry test or nasal flow test analyses the airflow and any obstructions in the nasal passageway. It is a simple computerised test that measure pressure and flow of the breathing cycle.
If there are signs of nasal obstruction treatment options can be discussed with your consultant whether it be solved by a decongestant spray or if there are deformities in the bone or cartilage blocking airflow.

Around 9% of women and 25% of men in Australia have clinically significant OSA and that 4% of men and women have symptomatic OSA. [Snore Australia, 2014]
Despite this, a large proportion of Australians with OSA remain undiagnosed and untreated. OSA is more common in males than females, and becomes more common with age. Research studies show that mortality rate (death rate) increases according to the severity of sleep apnoea - even mild OSA results in a 2.5 increase in mortality rate.
Treating OSA correctly and over an extended period of time eliminates this risk.
